How to Install Kodi HDVix Addon in 5 Minutes or Less

This tutorial shows you how to install Kodi HDVIX Addon.  With this Kodi addon, you get Movies & TV shows.

A good way to watch movies and TV shows is by using the Kodi HDVIX addon. When it comes to movies and TV shows, one can never have too many add-ons. We’ve created this guide to help you through the installation process, so you can starting enjoying your TV shows and movies

Word of caution: This is not an official Kodi add-on but a 3rd party Kodi add-on, so do not post questions about Kodi HDVix Addon in the official Kodi forums.  Also make sure you use a Kodi VPN (60% Off) when using this addon.

How to Install Kodi HDVix Addon in Kodi v17 (aka “Krypton”)

This first HDVix install guide is for the Krypton version of Kodi.

1. Open Kodi
2. Click on Settings then, Select File manager
3. Now click on Add source
4. In the highlighted line displayed, type the following CORRECTLY: http://reasonsrepo.ml/repo/ and click Done
5. On the box named Enter a name for this media source shown underneath, type reasons and click OK
6. Head back to the home screen
7. Click Add-Ons
8. Then click install from zip file
9. Click reasons
10. Then click repository.reasonsrepo-x.x.x.zip
11. Wait for an Add-on Notification to pop up
12. Click Install from Repository
13. Then click Reasons Repository
14. Click Video add-ons
15. Then click HDvix
16. Click Install
17. Then an Add-on Installed Notification will pop up
18. Once the Notification is displayed, the Add-on is ready to use, and you can find it on your Add-ons section

Important:  Make sure to use a VPN with Kodi.  Why?  When you use a VPN with Kodi, your identity and location are completely hidden from your Internet service provider.

How to install HDVix Addon in Kodi v16 (aka “Jarvis”)

The instructions below are a little bit different than the directions above.  The direction below are for those who use Kodi Jarvis (aka Kodi 16). The instructions are still easy to stick with, although it will be best if you switch to Kodi’s latest version (Kodi 17 Krypton).

1. Open Kodi Jarvis (v16.x)
2. Then in the top left corner of the screen, click on system
3. Click on file manager
4. Then click on Add source
5. Click None
6. Then in the textbox displayed, type the following CORRECTLY: http://reasonsrepo.ml/repo/
7. Click Done
8. Then in the box named Enter a name for this media source shown underneath, type reasons and click OK
9. Head back to your home screen and click on System
10. Then click Add-ons
11. Click install from zip file
12. Then click reasons
13. Choose repository.reasonsrepo.x.x.x.zip
14. Then wait for an Add-on Notification to pop up
15. Head to Add-on Repositories and select repository hellhounds
16. Then click Install
17. Go back to Install from repository
18. Then click Reasons repository
19. Click Video add-ons
20. Then click HDVix
21. Click Install
22. Then click Video add-ons
23. Click HDVix
24. Then an Add-on Installed Notification will pop up
25. Once the Notification appears, the Kodi HDVix Addon is ready for you to stream sources!
