Despite the reservations of Catelyn Stark, Ned accepts the proposal and travels with Baratheon. He discovers that Joffery and Tomen are sons of Jamie as a result of incest between siblings. This can make the claim of Robert’s supposed sons to the Iron Throne illegal.

Moving on, Arya Sails off for Braavos to find The House of Black and White. She learned about it from a man named Jaqen H’ghar whom she freed from captivity. This is after a fight breaks out between the Hound and Brienne of Tarth. The hound is critically injured and left by Arya to die.

Sansa Stark is given to Ramsay Snow by Littlefinger, but Ramsay tortures her while forcing Theon to watch; seeing who he thought as his sister at one point being tortured makes him regain himself, and he helps Sansa escape.

The culmination of her anguish is Daenerys burning down the entirety of King’s Landing, slaughtering thousands of civilians from atop Drogon; when she finally rests, Jon comes up to her to hug her and kills her with a dagger. 

Cersei and Jamie die, and the leaders of Westeros appoint Bran as the king, while Jon goes into exile and Sansa rules the North. Arya sails west, and Tyrion becomes the hand of the new king.
